Amazon’s Weird AI Art for Kindle Editions of Starship Troopers

Amazon currently has this for the cover art of the kindle version listed at https://www.amazon.com/Starship-Troopers-Robert-Heinlein-ebook/dp/B0DP3DPJSV/ for $3.99.

It’s been there for a while but back in September 2025, I found this on there on the 27th. I thought, “Oh, they fixed the bad AI art!” But no, the foreground character still has 3 arms.

It says Starship troopers in big bold letters and underlined at the top:

below that is is some sort of drop ship that I cannot tell if it is facing towards or away. It looks like a star trek shuttlecraft only with two Enterprise A style nacelles on top facing away, as if we are looking at the back of the ship. A 3rd, different sort of nacelle is in the middle top and appears to be firing rocket thrust out the back form out viewpoint. There's a dim sun looking object right belove the S in troopers. There are wispy clouds. in the background are some light brown mountains with the one on the live being very large. In the foreground is a "space marine" facing away from us with apparently 3 arms. several other soldiers are gathered arounds at the drop point.
